Family, yes there is family. There is a Mrs. NEWPLAYER. She also has one of those terminal degrees. We met while I was in grad school, but she still decided she wanted to try it for herself.
And of course, you can always see a close up of me.
We live in a place where the view from our deck at night is simply amazing.
But, if you want to know what we really do with our spart time.
NEWESTPLAYER joined us in May 1996. He has been a joy to be around. He's got one of those personalities that is just magic. He's always been a happy baby, he even tries to be happy when he's got a cold. Here are a couple more pics, if you're interested
He was beautiful right from the start
His first Halloween
His first sail
Six months
His first Christmas
The little guy with his old man Saturday morning
And now, quite the dapper dude, don't you think?
And then there were two.
She decided from the start to challenger her brother for the good look prize
But they are a great pair
And at 5 months, even prettier
In keeping with tradition, we have a dog and a cat. Our dog is a rescue dog. She came from a breeder who was trying to single handedly redesign the Golden Retreaver breed into a giant dog. When we call her the "Big Dog", we're not kidding. She weighs in at 120 pounds. She's so big she doesn't meet the breed standard, and would have been put down unless she could be placed. So, we took her when she was twelve weeks old. She is a sweet dog. They call her the Gentle Giant. A well deserved nick name. Our cat is another story. She's the biggest fraidy cat, doesn't like people (other than family), hates other cats, barely tolerates the dog, but out of nowhere last week, she bonded with Newestplayer.
