The wall behind the counter has an old wooden door and some empty shelves. A thin man with bright orange hair and mutton chops stands on the other side of the counter. I'll come back," Othrek says. He motions for Raegar to follow him back into the street. Once they are outside, he whispers to Raegar, "I'm thinking I want to set up an ambush for Tincheron when he returns. But we'll need a spy or a lookout to alert us. Maybe that centaur sneak could be of use again. No, not possible. I have no long-lost relatives. And what brother of mine would willfully buy and trade in his own father's hide? he thinks. He leaves the store without answering Bren's question and is slightly shaken. "Let's hide here and ambush the scoundrel when he comes by tonight," he says to the group when he is back outside. "Well, he doesn't seem to be coming. There is Plan B, which essentially involves attacking that shopkeeper in there and coaxing more info out of him. We can't get in trouble, right? I mean, it's a criminal enterprise! Any objections? No? Okay, let's go!" He wears a dark blue cloak with the hood pulled up over his head. His skin is a scaly goldish-brown, and as he speaks his tongue slithers out of his mouth like a snake's. "You must be the one looking for me." "I suppose I am then." His hands cross to his belt beneath the flaps of his cloak. One hand rests on the hilt of an unholy dagger, the other on an unholy bastard sword. Zerryn sees Tincheron's hands go for his weapons and pulls his bow off his back. He fires an arrow straight into Bran's chest. A puddle of blood spreads beneath Bran. Zerryn lets off an arrow which bounces off Tincheron's scales. Tincheron bends over, winded and shocked by the force of Othrek's blows. He looks up at Othrek and snarls, "I get a half-dragon and centaur hide on the same day. Business is good!" He chops at Othrek with his sword and dagger in a blur, his sword connecting with Othrek multiple times. He finishes off with a bite that fails to break through Othrek's skin. I added 2 to my attacks b/c I assumed Raegar would be flanking by the time I took my turn. We need him for questioning." Othrek searches Bran and Tincheron's bodies for a key to the shop. If he finds one he will then lock the door and search the entire store, keeping an eye out for a suit of brass dragonhide armor. Pancake stabilizes Bran, and Othrek locks the door. The room and shelves are bare. Othrek moves into the back room which is a cold room lined with stone walls. The opposite wall contains an archway filled with a shifting black substance. When Bran wakes up, Othrek makes himself look as terror-inspiring as possible and asks Bran: "How did Tincheron get into the store? We were watching the entrance. Was it through that portal? At least one person should stay to watch the door and guard this man. If my earch of the Skullport shop uncovers no clues, we may have to find another way to cast 'speak with dead.'"
