| ........................this site will no longer be updated............................................................................................................................................ post summer 2001- without making anything set in stone, it seems as though SLT is slowly becoming a faded memory. summer 2001 proved that the spark that was once there has sadly died down, but it was still an amazing trip. The past 5 years was an experience none of us can live again.. thanks so much. this isn't a goodbye, but rather a "until next time". hopefully we can get together at barn aid 2002. by the way check out the barns website at: www.superbarn.com. for now, take it easy and keep in touch. 05.03.01- with the summer fast approaching, SLT plans on playing a lot. will this turn out like past summers which have resulted in nothing? well time will tell, but hopefully something productive will come out. this is potentially the last summer where all members will spend the months in mundelein, so why not go out in style? on another note, this site has been up 3 months now and is working pretty well, remember to send suggestions. p.s- check out the new SLT guitar tabs up on the "songs" page! 03.18.01- coming later this week, the untitled 2000 effort will be MP3ized and up for downloading with the already avaliable "who beefed?" songs. a lot of downloading things are coming as promised as well as some more pics and stuff like that. stay tuned as usual.... 02.28.01- ok, so heres the lowdown: new pics are up, but more are on the way. the audio/video is coming, just give it time. please. but, there is even better news to come -> spring breakers, dig this; the week between march 9th-18th, SLT will be home in good ol mundelein, illinois. this wasn't expected but a sudden change of plans has made it so. need a band for your little get together? know a place lookin for live music? let SLT know and its set!! please e-mail if you have any possibilities or ideas. your help is much appreciated. 02.13.01- well the site has officially been up for a week now, and a lot has happened. heres a quick lowdown of whats to come next week- - hopefully the cafepress.com account will be up and working, its really nothing special, just junk like shirts and stuff, not like anyone wants any, but it will be up to say the least. - many more pics will be up hopefully as soon as the 19th. they are being retrieved this upcoming weekend, and then will be posted ASAP. - along with the pics being retrieved, much more song info is as well after that, we should be pretty much up and running go through feedback and let us know what you think, comments are much obliged. feb. 2001 - this NEW SLT WEBSITE is being made and will be under construction for at least a few weeks. its features will include downloadable songs from both albums, lyrics, pictures, dates, setlist archives, flyer archives and much much more. the last websites information has been lost, so many things are going to be hard to re-trace. any suggestions, pictures or additional information would be helpful, so if you have any, please contact. |
| as far as band related issues go, the band is on a short hiatus until summer 2001. schools in three seperate states makes playing difficult. each member is still playing and writing though, so summer should bring some interesting things. december 2000 brought SLTs last performance, which debuted many new musical patterns incorporating keyboards, techno drum beats and such effects as police scanners, among other things. it also brought much needed rehersal time, where a few new songs were written. stay tuned as many new things will be happening here and we hope to see you this summer. |
