DO make yourself available when chosen and called to the set. DO be alert, courteous and attentive to directions given you. DO be on time! DO expect long hours and plenty of slack time. Bring cards, books, etc.. DO wear comfortable shoes. DO wear appropriate clothing for the season. DO drink plenty of fluids on the set. DO bring sun block for those sunny days. DO bring a book, personal medications and snacks if you so desire. DO bring a pen and a pocket notebook. DO remember that movies provide an illusion, don't get carried away. DO remember your actions in the scene, you may need to repeat them. DO follow directions given you. DO ask questions if some direction is not clear to you. DO inform a PA (production assistant) if you have a problem. DO let the production company know if you'll be able to return. DO bring a positive attitude. DO be professional DO have fun! DO NOT bring DRUGS, ALCOHOL or WEAPONS to the set. DO NOT bring an attitude to the set. DO NOT bring anything your willing to lose to the set. DO NOT bring family or friends to watch you 'act'. DO NOT bring pets to the set. DO NOT gamble on the set. DO NOT steal...anything... from anyone! DO NOT wander away from your designated area. DO NOT engage in horseplay on the set. DO NOT look at the camera! DO NOT change your actions given to you without approval. DO NOT forget the directions given to you. DO NOT leave the set without being released (wrapped). DO NOT bother crew members as they're doing their work. DO NOT ask actors for photos etc. during the course of filming. DO NOT talk during the filming of a scene. DO NOT offer your 'professional' advice to the director. DO NOT gripe or complain on set, you don't know who'll hear you. DO NOT make disparaging remarks, you'll get someone's attention. DO NOT have your cell phones on during filming DO NOT take pictures on set |
