Jesus paid the full penalty for you:
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the
tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Cor. 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also
received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
His righteousness now is placed to your credit:
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto
us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
(Christ Jesus became our redemption. He paid the penalty for our sins
on the cross and released us from our slavery to sin. In Christ we
are accounted righteous by God, just as if we had never sinned.
We are viewed as holy just as God is holy. These words describe our
present state in Christ)
Rom. 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every
one that believeth.
(Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. In Him the law
reached its goal. He has thus opened the way to God through trust
in Him rather than through observance of legal requirements.)
Confess Him as your Saviour and Lord:
Rom. 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
Matt. 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him
will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Follow Jesus in baptism:
Mark 1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from
Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
Col. 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with
him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him
from the dead.
Rom. 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Worship with His People:
Heb. 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day approaching.
John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the
week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled
for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith
unto them, Peace be unto you.
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples
came together to break bread,..............
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind
me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Contribute as God prospers:
1 Cor. 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him
in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings
when I come.
Mal. 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say,
Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
2 Cor. 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and
utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love
to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
Study the Bible daily:
2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness:
Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched
the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
2 Tim. 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Confess to God every sin
