"Everybody hates pop-up windows.  Anyone who uses the Internet has experienced them, those annoying little boxes that pop up and interrupt whatever you�re doing to advertise things like the �NEW, EVEN SMALLER miniature camera!�  The average individual is subjected to almost 5,000 marketing messages every day.  Who wants one more, especially one so unexpected?  Why then is one of the queer community�s main strategies to �Get Out The Vote� to defeat anti-gay ballot initiatives the equivalent of pop-up windows?"
