Last I knew, she was doing ok. This morning Rick called me to say she hadn't eaten the past couple of days. I really think the guys were trying to protect me from being hurt. Rick had to carry Chanel from the house, as she also stopped standing and walking, and he carried her into the vet office. There was nothing they could do. We knew she had cancer for at least the past 8 months or so. Chanel was 13 years and 3 months old. She was able to leap from 3rd floor balconies, unharmed, marveled us with her abilities to suck cats through chain link fences and an extraordinary cuddler. She is forever in our hearts.
