Personality: Zorina is a no nonsense type of person. To her work comes first and she doesn't have much of a social life really since her work takes out a huge chunk of her day, leaving her exhausted. She's very serious when it comes to matters and stresses out easily. She has no tolerance for those who want to relax, because thread is ravishing the planet, people are dying, etc. She's got a stick up her arse, to put it bluntly. She dabbles with the opposite gender from time to time, but nothing serious, she's a tease. Zorina can be a caring, approachable person in work, but outside she has a split personality where she is cold and has a biting tongue.

Background: Zorina joined up with the Pern colony because her parents, Ivan & Alena, were both enlisted for the program. She was joined by her older brother. Pern proved to be an opportunistic place for everyone. Her parents worked hard at their jobs and had little time to spare with the children so Zorina bonded close to Zdenek, her brother. The years passed and Zdenek was working on becoming a therapist just like his mother. Then Thread fell. Zdenek and Alena were killed. Ivan became more introverted and Zorina grew more distant. She took up the role that her brother had, working hard to be a therapist. She was going to do it anyway, but now she had a driving force. One day Ivan left with the others to go up North, leaving Zorina with almost everything that belonged to the family. Zorina sought out New Landing to start anew and to start her career.
