Physical Description: Zann is tall and lanky, with shoulder-length dark hair he ties back carelessly with a piece of leather. From his Native American ancestors he has inherited reddish-brown skin and sparkling black eyes. He is awkward and gawky, though he may outgrow that in time. He could care less about his clothing, usually throwing on the same well-worn pants he wore the day before. With him, the shirt is optional.

Personality: Zann is very self-assured and easy-going. He knows what he is good at and says so freely. Some may think him cocky, but he is very well grounded in reality and has no hesitancy in admitting his limitations as well. Honest to the max, he sometimes angers those around him by pointing out their faults. "Take me as I am," is his motto. He is very interested in the opposite sex, although he is not inclined to take on a serious relationship. He wants to experience all that life has to offer.

Background: The senior White Feathers joined the Pern colony eager for the wealth of open spaces and the promise of untouched land. Always a tight-knit tribal family, they became more isolationist once they staked their acres on Pern. Zann grew up within this circle without the benefit of friends, although he had several siblings.

After the first Threadfall, Zann defied his father and moved to Landing, where he became an apprentice sled pilot. Zann no longer wished to live an isolated life and saw Thread as a menace that could only be conquered when everyone worked together. During his time away from his father's stake, Zann has grown more independent and has come to appreciate the value of a community.

Hobbies & Skills: Although he looks awkward, Zann is good with his hands and is always tinkering with something, be it engines, computers, or women. He grew up as a farmer's son and is a capable farmer, used to working with animals. He likes to ride horses and whittles in his spare time.

Pets: Although his father was not big on pets, Zann Impressed a wild brown fire lizard he calls Kohana. With patience, he has managed to train Kohana to come when called, but it is not unusual for the little brown to go off on a lark and not return for several hours. He is not the most trustworthy of fire lizards.

Physical Description: Bennith is a dark emerald-green, lightening to gold-tinged green around her thich, wedge-shaped head. Her wing pinions and membranes too are light gold-green. She is a squat, heavyset dragonet with a stumpy tail, medium-sized in relation to the length of the other hatchlings.

Personality: Bennith is a demanding dragonet. She knows what she wants and she wants it NOW, and she does not hesitate to make her needs known. She is very attatched to Zann and will have seperation issues, causing some problems. She is beginning to show her flirtatious side even at this early stage, which may cause some difficulty for Zann.
