Physical Description: Very small, even for her age, undernourished and with a scared look to her right now. Trina�s hair is sandy brown color and her eyes are blue-green. A small button-nose, freckles, dimpled chin and dimples of her own when she smiles. More or less, an adorable little girl.

Personality: Usually quite vibrant and filled with the ol� Irish spirit, but of late very quiet and depressed. She seems almost hollow compared to her old self and her usual ways. Trina�s witnessed the death of her entire family and yet she lives on, facing far more than any nine year old should have to. She�s depressed and could use some psychologically help and therapy for all of this, and is already beginning to blame herself.

Background: Born on Pern to the Murphy family, Trina was their oldest child and their little joy. She loved her parents and her fun uncle, Liam, very much and helped look after the other two kids as she got a bit older. Though mischievous and a bit trouble-making as any kid, she was pretty good about behaving when needed. To save their herds, her parents took her and her siblings North, expecting a better life and finding one that was much harder and more horrible. Thread killed the herds, hunger and illness killed her siblings in the first winter, and later on her mother died in childbirth along with the child. Her father was a shadow of himself, Trina his only thought, but then he, too, died in a mis-charted Threadfall as he was out aiding other herdsmen. She came under the care of some family friends, Lilly Lee the nurse mostly, and Lilly made sure she was on The Return when it headed back South. Now living with her uncle who�s trying to cheer her back to her old self, Trina�s life has taken yet another jerking turn.
