Physical Description: Tassos is very obviously Greek � a stock build, thick dark curly hair, thick eyebrows, dark eyes, and dark, tanned, olive skin. He stands at about 5�10�, and weighs around 200 between muscle and some extra weight. His hair is long enough to show the curl, but otherwise rather short. His broad face has a decent smile and a gap in his front teeth, but otherwise fairly average looking.

Personality: A bit stoic and quiet, but overall rather friendly. Traditional � Tassos would like to keep the traditions of his own Greek ancestors continuing at least somewhat on Pern. On Earth his family raised and bred cattle, and such was his goal and idea to do so here�until Thread completely ruined the farm, of course. He�s since developed a passion in destroying Thread but is no good at the dynamics of sled combat. Simple in the sense of desiring a simple lifestyle with no complications that are avoidable. Peaceable, a nice guy, loves hi family very much.

Background: Tassos came to Pern with an older brother to help set up one of the livestock farms on the new planet. They were Greek to the core, and looked forward to the new adventure, a sort of spreading their family across the universe. They came, set up the farm, Tassos was married at 21 to his sweetheart, Penelope, another woman of Greek descent, and they began looking to raise a family. In the first Threadfall, however, the Pantelios farm was completely destroyed. Tassos� brother Myron died horribly, as well as the entirety of the livestock, as they were out to pasture at the time. Penelope and Tassos were in the one storage building made of material that couldn�t be eaten through and, terrified, they wept and clung to one another inside, watching helplessly. Once it was over, they made for Landing in a matter of days, reporting the total loss. They moved with the colony to New Landing, and there Penelope gave birth to their first son, named Myron for the lost brother. Tassos applied to the candidate program while working with the livestock left with the colony, working to breed them and increase their numbers as needed. He also Impressed a young green firelizard, named Jola. He is determined to fight that which took his brother and threatens his family. Penelope is currently expecting their second child.
