Persona Description: She is a sled pilot to the core. Her body is trim and strong, her reflexes are quick. Her hair is graying salt and pepper and cut short to her head like a pixie cut for convenience. Her eyes are a deep pool of brown and she has high cheekbones and a long neck. She is overall willowy and sharp looking.
Dress: Her sled pilot jumper in most cases, when off duty she is a snappy dresser, but it is not her first priority, colorful saris are also a favorite.
Weapons: She has great aim with just about anything that flies.

Background: Siyahd earned distinction in the Nathi wars for her piloting,She looked forward to a tranquil and restful retirement.
Her journey to Pern was easy. She set up a house like many others, was one of the first to acquire a dog and now has a few that lounge around her at any given time. Her house is full of creatures, she finds all of her companionship from her animals. She enjoys the life of a colonist and usually knows everyone�s name and calls people by them. She took shifts ferrying and helping wherever she could. When the first threadfall passed and the cleanup was left, Siyahd was called together with a few other sled pilots to discover a defense. She no longer flies too many active threadfalls having a stiff shoulder, but her opinions are sought usually and she helps on the candidate screening for the Dragon Project. Personality: She is not interested in anything but the success of the colony, her clout for the space wars make her a respected part of the colony � passable scientific training had also landed her on the committee that screens candidates. She is a staunch neutral opinion in as many cases as she can be and enjoys playing devils advocate. She is long-sufferingly patient and stubborn. She also does not listen to many who are younger than she is � she is narrow minded and believes her way is usually right because of seniority if anything else. She can be prickly and usually turns up her nose to drama and is not above smart little acidic comments about people � usually when it is clear they are listening to her. She does not find firelizards at all charming and hopes the dragons will not be very much like them in personality.
