Physical Description: Kashi is an average looking woman of all browns. She's short, 5'1", with a solid, slightly plump build. Her face has fine, small features. Her nose has a high bridge and is pointy. She has tiny dark brown eyes and medium brown hair that falls to her midback. Her hair is frizzy and somewhat ratty at the ends.

Personality: Kashi is a stern, confident woman, which is important in her profession. She is a strong believer in natural childbirth and finding Pernese medicine. Afterall, in a few more decades those will be the only options available. She is patient with children and her clients, but doesn't take crap from anyone else, especially those in the medical field who find natural births primitive and barbaric.

Background: Kashi was a free spirited youth raised by her Nicole Montana, her grandmother. Although her grandmother was a war veteran, the two lived modestly. Nicole decided from a young age that she wanted to be a midwife, but her grandmother wasn't fond of the idea and wouldn't pay for midwifery school. Nicole worked a few years as a waitress, trying to save up for school, when her grandmother secured them both a spot on the Pern colony. When she arrived at Pern, Kashi could finally begin her apprenticeship as a midwife. A few years later, she met Lute Amano and had two children before finally terminating their contract. Kashi was heart broken when her grandmother moved north, but Lute wouldn't budge and she didn't want to separate her children from their father. She recently signed up as a candidate after seeing how healthy the first group was.
