Physical Description: Iago sports a slim muscular body, that's still growing, weighing in at 155 lbs and standing at 5'6". His complexion is very tan/olive, and he does have a tendency to sunburn easily. He has a round face. His eyes are almond shaped and brown. His hair is a dark brown, and he has black bangs that fall into his eyes a lot.

Personality: Iago is rather calm, but that's only an appearance. The truth is he harbors all his frustration, hurt, and anger inside. This is because he believes he's in a situation with a power struggle between his father that he will never win. He appears to be broken almost. He's slightly antisocial, a pessimist, and is shy. He hardly ever speaks up because he believes what he says means nothing. Inside of him there's a small patch of hope.

Background: Iago's parents joined up with the Pern Colony for adventure and a fresh new start in their lives. His father was particularly interested with new species to study. The family lived a happy and normal life until Thread fell. From there the colony was in a panic over what to do. While Kamil was at first supportive of the first Dragon Project, after its failure, he decided to take the entire family up to the North. There Iago's mother, Kalila died and his father became depressed and bitter, often taking it out on Iago. Eventually the two decided to go with others and escape towards Landing again. There his father was in for quite a surprise, with the newer Dragon Project viewing its success. However, instead of welcoming the Project, he shunned it after learning just how intelliegent dragons were. He believed that scientists were tampering with alien technology they did not fully understand, and to create creatures with such intelligence was a threat to the survival of mankind. Dragons became abominations. Not only that, but since the Project created the creatures with low resources he believes that more problems will come out of it, then good. Dragons are bound to have flaws, and there's no proof that they will reproduce, carry a person, or ever successfully protect the majority planet from thread. He believes that New Landing needs come out with machinery to destroy thread, not creatures they know nothing about. This is one reason that Iago become a mechanic instead of going into a field of science. While he often follows his father's beliefs, he can't help but sort of be interested in the "abominations".
