Physical Description: Dawson sports a slim, but muscular body weighing in at 175 lbs and standing at 5�11�. His complexion is very light, and he does have a tendency to sunburn easily. He has a long face with a very prominent chin, and usually sports a 3 o�clock shadow. His eyes are almond shaped and brown. He sports some deep gashes on his arms from scratches and a long scar down his leg from a childhood mishap. His hair is a light brown, wavy, and medium length.

Personality: Dawson is a man who is devoted to his work, that he�s not the best socialite. If there�s work to be done, he won�t take a break until he�s finished. This can make him very stressful or others can find him passed out asleep at work in the early hours of the morning. As a result of his work, he�s not very good at social events, and is shy around the ladies as well. However, at work he�s in his element and seems to know everyone in the department very well. Dawson is pretty much a geek, but a good looking one. Another one of Dawson�s problems is he has to put himself in a schedule, anything that is spontaneous outside of work, is bad. With being stressed out so much, he tends to misplace things, but his flit often helps out with this problem. He doesn�t lose things as much as he used to, thanks to his flit. He loves children, and always takes time to help apprentices if they need it. He�s extremely approachable, but his quirks and elusive behavior makes it difficult at times.

Background: Dawson joined the colony since her parents were included in the program. He was only 14 when the planet was colonized. As a young boy, he was absolutely in awe over fire-lizards. He wanted to know everything about them, and when he received one for his 16th birthday, he decided to become a vet so that he could specialize in the little beasts. When Threadfall hit, no one was seriously injured in his intermediate family, though he did lose a cousin. After the Dragon Project began, Dawson wanted nothing more then to get involved. If there was one thing he loved it was fire-lizards and the prospect of having larger ones excited him. His parents did not share this view of the project being successful, and left with the majority of the colony to the north. Dawson and his younger sister remained. Part of his decision to remain was that he was one year within becoming a vet. He was selected as a candidate, but continues to work on increasing human knowledge of flit medical care and behavior. He continues to advance his knowledge in his newly acquired role as a full vet. However, Dawson knows that as soon as the eggs hatch, and if he does not get a dragon, he�d like to change his specialty so that he can specialize to the medical care a dragon requires. He knows that it may take anywhere from months to years before he will be approved into that department.
