Appearance: Tall, lean, David's a looker for certain! His golden blonde hair that longish on the top, and his clear green eyes, his muscled form from his trade, and damn that ass is fine. Having grown into a more chiseled look than some of his siblings, David's downright HOT and his smile matches the rest of the package.

History: Born on Terra, David's got some memories of growing up there, but now most of his formative growing was done on Pern, having been 11 when they landed. He was always good with his hands, and has become a rather skilled carpenter, doing both practical jobs and repairs as well as some fancier decorative work, mostly nice chairs and tables and so forth. He enjoys the work. He's been studying and working at it since about the age of 12, and doing very well, teaching in some of his free time now, but mostly preferring to work on his own.

Mark's death, some six months past, hit David very hard. They were close in age and got along very well, were good friends as well as brothers. Since Mark died in Threadfall, David's become more determined to live on and fight this thing, and so he stayed at New Landing. He once had a girlfriend he loved quite a bit and likely would have married, but Lilly choose to go North instead. David's become more solitary since these incidents, but surprisingly did apply for candidacy and was accepted.

Personality: David is rather quiet and non-intrusive. He just enjoys his work, and goes a good job with it. A very hard-worker, and dedicated, but he's just not talkative. Without a doubt one of the 'strong silent' types. He's not much of a flirt, nor is he himself entirely aware of how handsome he is. He loved Lilly is still stung by her leaving him and not understanding why he needed to stay, after what happened to Mark. He does feel strongly about the 'important things' and tries to ignore little, unimportant things. He loves his family, is usually rather amused by the twins and Nona, and he Sharon get along alright. He's respectful of pretty much everyone, and very little irks him or gets under his skin, so it's hard for anyone to say what his temper is like. When he is upset or mad, he just buries himself in work that much more. His application to candidacy has mostly to due with a feeling of wanting to prove Lilly was wrong and he's not wasting his life here, and in Mark's memory, who was going to be a candidate for the first eggs that failed. Also, for his quietness and simple lifestyle, he is pretty intelligent which surprises people quite often as they take him for a simpleton. An avid reader when he's not working, David's taken in quite an amount of information, and is a good listener. Not many notice that he attends many of the informational lectures on Pern, the planet, the techonologies being employed here and the genetics program. He's a man of surprises when one looks closely.

Physical Description: It's hard to tell now, but Cosmoth looks to be a bit stocky, and may be larger than an 'average' brown, whatever that may be! His smooth brown coloring is darkish, a sort of mixing of dark chocolate and a few shades that are slightly lighter, on his wings and along his tail.

Personality: Curious & friendly so far! Cosmoth hasn't displayed a very strong personality just yet, but David is still getting to know what his new friend is like.
