| Version 0.95 | Nearly complete. The in-game stuff is done. Story text will require me to do some ASM work. Some strings may need clean-up done. |
This is a neat little cross between platform game and RPG. Skrybe has informed me that this game was planned to be released in the US as Zombie Master, by Activision, but was not released.
In the city of Palma, peace was maintained by the four spirits of earth, fire, water and wind. One day, Dolgo, the spirit of the earth, stole the Life Seeker, an item which is used to maintain the world's energy. He took the Life Seeker to his underground labyrinth. With this item in hand, he could control the energy in the world.
With this energy, Dolgo took away the life energy of the people of Palma. Thus, they turned into zombies. Ariel, the wind goddess, commisioned her subordinate, Byuzu to find a hero with the courage and willing to defeat Dolgo. That hero has been chosen. You are that hero.
You must travel through several stages, fighting enemies, and visit the hidden shops to buy powerups. Your ultimate goal is to find a key, randomly left by defeated enemies, to open the door so that you may challenge the boss, and progress to the next stage. It is a very fun game, with good graphics.
As for the translation, it is unfinished. I will need to do some ASM work to make the story text display, and this if I can find the ROM within the space the game allows me to use for story text. I know of a couple places that may need some control code clean-up, but I'm releasing this patch since it's my site's birthday.

Okay, I've been getting reports that this doesn't work, so here's a temporary link.
