A "NEW" contract after the bid ????? | |||||||||||||||||||
The bidding process for the courthouse water continues to haunt taxpayers pockets. They had a bid for 405,000 for water and sewer which they ignored(Mr Hannum's property) They instead chose a 100,000 well bid which balloned to 455,000(courtesy of Anderson and Associates) and a pump and haul sewer operation for 17,000 The Board is now contemplating a 1.7 to 3.2 million dollar sewer system ,not surprisingly, with intentions to have a waste treatment plant on the old Hannum property where his original bid was to place a plant. And wouldn't you know it.... the people who purchased the property from Mr Hannum purchased it in the name of PALMYRA ASSOCIATES LLC . The only thing you know about them is their agent is Barbara Goshorn(widow of Colin Guy) and all the members are private and protected. The Status Quo continues in Fluvanna. |
