        A Little About Me

          I've been married to the same wonderful man now for 33 1/2 years we
          have 2 children Roxanne our oldest is 27 and Rodney is 23 Rodney..
          is married to a beauitful girl Debbie and they have a little boy who I adore he is 18 months old My GrandSon name is Caleb.
          My hubby, Otto, and I are in full time ministery. We pastor a church with just a few people. God have called us to alittle town on the southcoast of Newfoundland.Canada
          We love the people the I have a ladies group from all denomations
          of 17 -20 with only two in my church and we have A very active club with about 35 -40 kids from ages 4 - 12.
          We enjoy the ministery very much. Our desire is to see people have a personal relationship with Jesus and to grow in His grace.

        The Refining

        Sometimes it seems life throws us a brick,

        And just when we're down the world gives us a kick.

        I wonder sometimes why these trials come my way,

        Tho it always drives me to my knees to pray,

        And often I've wondered,"Oh, Lord why the test"?

        Especially when it seemed I was doing my best.

        But as I listened to the pastor Your word explain

        He gave me the answer for all of my pain.

        He spoke of the refiner refining the ore,

        How he turns up the heat so a liquid, t'will pour.

        For before He can use it the dross must be removed

        Not one bit to be left when the metal is proved,

        For metal will crumble if dross is contained,

        And the refiners work will have all been in vain,

        So as liquid gets hotter the dross comes to the top

        The refiner removes it, He'll not leave a drop.

        He then designs a masterpiece accoording to His plan

        He pours it and waits for the metal to stand.

        From the mold He removes it, the dross is all gone,

        And stands admiring the work He's been working upon,

        He can tell that it's pure for His image He can see,

        With the dross all removed It's as pure as can be,

        So let me not shrink when the tests come my way,

        Remove all the dross from my life, Lord I pray,

        So that in this life of mine the refiner will see,

        His very own image reflected in me.
