Beverly Jones
I live in a little place called Danville Virginia. I was born and raised in North Carolina until I was 14 years old

My mom remarried and we moved to Virginia. I am an only child. I lost my dad to asthma when I was 13 years old.
That was one of the hardest things to go through in my life but God was with me all the way
I was born with Spina Bifida and that means I am paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheelchair.
So I had struggles growing up but all of that made me a stronger person and has made my Faith in God so strong.
have been married to Mike for almost 7 years now. We actually went to high school together .
He is also in a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury during his birth
He is paralyzed from the mid chest down. We live on our own and we have aides that come in for a few hours each morning to help get the day started.
God has really provided in every way to make sure we have as much of a normal life as we can.
I was raised in church and God has always been the center of my life. I did struggle with wondering why God would have me here and what my purpose in life is, for the longest time
I have tried to come to the realization that I can be a witness to people that he can help people through any situation
He has blessed me enough to be able to learn how to play the keyboard for the orchestra at our church.
I am loving it and I feel like that is what I am supposed to be doing...although I am still struggling with it.
I thank God for the people at Esther that have became very special people
to me that I can always count on to be there for me and to pray for me whenever I need it.

The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

Forever.
