Dan has been active in fastpitch since 1981. He was on the 1994 ASA Class C State Championship Team with Club Tavern (Blue). He competed in the 1994 ASA Class C National Tournament in Midland, Texas, and finished 13th.
In 1998 he was with team Curveball, which won the NAFA 'A' World Series Championship Team in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was chosen as the 1998 NAFA 'A' World Series and Wisconsin State Manager of the Year.
In 1999, Dan competed with the Idiehl Tap team in the NAFA 'AA' World Series in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The past 2 years he has competed with team New Image at the 2000 NAFA 'A' World Series in Fargo, North Dakota, and the 2001 NAFA 'A' World Series in Hutchinson, Kansas, in which the team finished 7th overall out of 45+ teams.
As for the State of Wisconsin Badger State Games, Dan has 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 3 Bronze Medals .
...in 2002, Dan was a member of the 5th place NAFA 'A' World Series team that competed in Salem, Oregon. He also was a member of the 2nd place New Image team at the 2002 Las Vegas Fall Classic. #21 also played on the New Image team that won Gold at the Badger State Games.
...in 2003, Dan helped New Image place 8th at the NAFA "AA" World Series in Chippewa Falls, WI. Dan also competed in the ASA Class C National Tournament in College Station, Texas. Dan won a Gold Medal at the Badger State Games, and was on the ASA State championship team.
...in 2004, Dan was on the New Image team that finished 2nd at the Wisconsin NAFA "AA" state tournament and 2nd at the NAFA travel league. Dan was also a member of the Wednesday night league team that finished first.
