J.J. joined New Image in 2002, and helped win a Gold Medal at the 2002 Badger State Summer Games. Josh then traveled with New Image to Salem, Oregon to assist in a fifth place finish at the 2002 NAFA 'A' World Series. J.J. was honorable mention for Wisconsin NAFA's 2002 player of the year. One of Josh's many fastpitch accomplishments was being named to the 2002 Wisconsin ASA Class C all tournament team. In 2003, J.J. helped New Image take first place at the ASA Class C State Tournament.
