SENIOR MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Mr Soon Chen @ Soon Zheng Her Edward is a Director of New-G Training Pte Ltd.  He is the Senior Management Representative who will manage & oversee the training process as he is also the Trainer at New-G Training Pte Ltd.  Edward is now 49 years old and was a freelance National Assessor for Security Manpower from February 2004 to April 2004.  For the past 3 years, he was a Chief Warder with the Singapore Prison Service, performing the duties of Intelligence Collection & conducting in-service training for Prison Officers.  Prior to that, he had retired with the rank of a Senior Staff Sergeant from the Singapore Police Force after serving 24 years.  He was an Investigating Officer, Field Training Officer, NPP Supervisor, Patrol Sergeant and Station Sergeant attached to Central Police Division and CID respectively.  The last 5 years of his police career was with Internal Security Department and was then a Team Supervisor in charge of 20 subordinates in a counter terrorism security unit.  Throughout Edward’s police & prison careers, he had attended the following courses :   (a)NSRS Assessor Course for the Security Manpower;  (b)Explosive Ordnance Disposal Familiarisation Course;  (c)First-aid Course; (d)Investigation Course;  (e)Intelligence Course;  (f)Cosec Course.  He is proficient in both written & spoken English and Mandarin, in addition to spoken Malay & dialects like Hakka (my mother-tongue), Cantonese and Hokkien.  Throughout his service, Edward was awarded several commendations & testimonials by the Singapore Police Force & Singapore Prison Service.
