Lynn is the mystery voice that Dillon heard in the studios of LnB. Once Dillon caught her singing he tried to convince her to sing professional for LnB. All Dillon knew about her at this time was that she was a run away named Lynn.

When Lois returned to Port Charles searching for Brooke Lynn who ran away, we learn that Lynn is Brooke Lynn. Dillon tries to help push Brooke Lynn back into the music business. However, her mom is a control freak and wants Brooke Lynn to go POP but she's not like that.

Brooke Lynn sung at Lila's funeral, and after the death of Sage, she turned Sage's poem into a song. Simon ( a producer) liked Brooke Lynn singing and they signed her.

During all of this, Lucas comes back into town and Brooke Lynn has her eye out for him. They develope crushes on each other and finally they have their first dance & kiss!
