PROFILE
Born 1973, grew up in the 80s.(Thank God, I got sense of homous....)Uolevi=Ou le vie? or evil (y)ou, actually my second name.
My first record was Bowies "Starman" and a poster on my wall. He was like...God.  But it was Boy George that changed my mind, my life.Or more likely, became lifelong inspiration, a permission giver, an icon, Saint George...You could be everything, IT was OK. First time I dressed up was school masquarate in 1982. I made all white outfit, wore black and white paper flower hat, white face and clowes and mirror specs. I was furious when everyone thought that I was a doctor. I was Futurist as I saw pictures in magazines. Soundtrack"Flashdance",Madonna,Culture Club, Grace Jones
Growing up in litte le village in Finland knowing that youre different is not that good, but it made me strong. All that beating, spitting and name calling...(What a way to become strong, to learn to know yourself...But it did the job, as for many of us ...kamikaze queers.) With music and art I survived.Never mind the fashion police...

Soundtrack Eurodisco, Acidhouse, theCure, Sex Pistols, TheSmiths, Pet Shop Boys, Dead or Alive, Sigue Sigue...Divine
My life started when I got in to the art school in 1990. It was my excuse to get away. I got rid of most of my demons by making pictures. I used myself as a model la Cindy Sherman and Frida Kahlo. I really started to dressing up in every ocassion. From punk parties to goth parties, I changed my pogo shoes to powder puff.  Dressed as a Goth. It soon developed in to first version of my "Nightclubbing" pictures.  Art imitating life...
Soundtrack S-Express,  Nick Cave, Alien Sex Fiend, Nitzer Ebb, Marc Almond, Jaques Brell
Moved to Helsinki in 1994 my life started again. Fell in love in prettiest boy in the world. (my Frankenstein, me monster or bride)... It was disco demented kind of mad love, talking like cats, soulmates,"Heroes" and horrormovies. He taught me everything on music; who influenced who, when, what, why. Really opened my eyes to music, to love life and...  But it lasted only five years,in this world anyway.
Soundtrack Suede, Joy Division, Cocteau Twins, Bowie, Patti Smith, Depeche Mode, Diamanda Galas, Marc Almond, triphop to britpop...
Did my mourning on dancefloor in Anvil...and earned an evil reputation. Tts not an good idea to ask me who did my make-up or my clothes. "What do you think?"...dressing up again and started working on my art.  And it is a art thing. Make-up is my painting. I make clothes to sculpture myse.  lf every detail is very carefully planned and well  studied. Always a Theme...Dancefloor is my exhibition, a performance.  Found perfect channel for my work in www .
Soundtrack : Placebo, Boy George, Billy MacKenzie, electroclash
Still learning. Still got my demons, in a good way. I can use them for me, not abuse....And with higher hairline I can put MORE makeup on!
And "Take it like a man" is my pink bible...
