WHAT AN AIRPLANE MEANS TO ME

On one single day The meaning of the airplane changed From freedom To fear, for me, for a while It's hard to imagine the mind of a warrior Of a killer In these times of love For the love For a child's song distilled For a woman's tear unwilled For a grandmother's heart broken For the future hopeful Resenting murder Is an evil thing Killing the inocent Deluded with pride Things have changed for me More alert, more greatful, more unsure Success has changed Artistic recognition is mostly meaningless For me what the world is now is like this: A testing ground for forgivingness For a heart to love and see past the immediate Danger I wish to transcend now I think that when races and religions clash Sooner or later The warriors shall lay down their swords
