Something To Believe In

          We need something to believe in To fight the loneliness and seperateness Which gives us the space to meditate But we cannot meditate Because our minds have become polluted And overcome The effect of the dream We cannot concentrate On anything with meaning Turned needful and unaware We need something to believe in Other than money And romantic love But maybe that's all we need It's sweeping the world Culture And when one is without another They feel incomplete, meaningless Unfulfilled Clinging to another without real love And maybe the devil is real Divorce is of course expected The kids will raise themselves Just give them enough money for the Newest clothes (And hockey equipment) But, ah, that's the world
