Redefine Me
In a world where mirror image lies
negates reality (or that which I percieve it to be)
it distorts blind truth, creates a string of new labels
that redefine
it simultates life
infomercials become your friends
and so is the death of intimacy
and of the sentient being
In a world of convenient addictions and
self confinement where
it has become easier to
remain idle pnuematic politicians
learn to whore their power
raise tuitions health care
and the cost of living
In these times everyone
wishes for equality
yet still with the same lies
we are prejudice hypocrites thus
we perpetuate the action
the ideal the dream
and the meaning soon forgotten
Impaled on this sword
of reason in a world where
'rational' does not exist I
remain a victim of
my self righteous nature and dream of
long dead prophets
and the love long lost to to time
On.
