| We made a whirlwind trip to Cape Cod leaving at 4:30pm Buffalo time on Aug. 30th as I had promised Sue Jones I would not make a decision on this puppy until I looked at him. We arrived at 2 am slept for a few hours and needless to say I could hardly wait to see him. My friend Kate was my co-pilot on this trip and she spotted two puppies out her bedroom window when we got up in the morning and we had an idea one of them was Byron. Sure enough, we were right. We chatted, played with puppies etc and were back on the road to come home at 4pm in the afternoon with, of course, Byron in the van with us! We arrived home at about 1 am. Sept 1, slept for about 4 hours got up and ready and on the road again for another hour and 20 minute drive to Lake Lamke. I couldn't wait to see if he liked the water. Am I crazy or what!! |
