The alarm went off suddenly. Sevena woke up with a start, and looked at her clock.
12:00 am! She thought with a pang, I shouldnt have drifted off! Im already late!
She pulled on a yellow sorceress robe and pushed her shoulder length blonde hair out of her face as she grabbed her long staff. It pulsated with bright white light.
"Kupo?" he mini-moogle asked, waking up.
"Yes Magus," she said, picking him up, "I'm actually going. Of course, Im late everywhere I go, so he'll have to tolerate someone being tardy for once. "
She bolted down the street outside her magic shop/home. Her yellow slippers pounded against the utterly filthy blacktop. If there is one reason to get this guy off the "throne" she thought, it's to clean up the cities! Suddenly her mind clicked. My memory is horrible, isnt it? Good morning Sevena, youre a sorceress!
So she cast a small spell and suddenly she was standing at the edge of the Nighl River.
"So you did decide to come." Gem said from behind her with a sneer.
"Shut up," she said professionally, "You are wasting my time, and yours." Sevena glanced around. This resistance group actually didnt look too bad. There were 4 so far.
"Hey, Im here!" someone said quietly, slipping in through the bushes. Sevena recognized the voice as the future "President's" girl friend.
As the resistance stared in shock, Gem shouted in a whisper, "People! Lets get started! Does everyone know the current situation?"
Everyone present nodded. A girl around Sevena's age stepped forward. "My name is Aerin," she said. She voiced everyone's concern by pointing at Yuzra and saying, "What is SHE doing here?"
Yuzra grinned maniacally, copying off of Sir Zero Nigh. "Tomorrow, or technically later today, I'm going to...dump...Elbee in front of the entire country!"
"My name is Kyri," said a girl, "That's a nice idea and all, but isnt that dangerous?"
"That it is," Sevena said calmly, considering she was still exhausted, "Ive sensed quite a bit of...something evil...coming from that man. You make him mad, hell kill you publicly..."
"Anyhow," Gem said impatiently, "You'll all need weapons." It seemed that Sevena was the only one with a weapon. "Kyri, youll get shurikens..." Kyri took them and smiled and examined them, "Aerin, youll get a scimitar..."
Gem stared at a man looked really energetic, "Um, Matthias? Hmmm..."
"I'll just use my natural weapons!" He said with a grin. To show the rest, he moved his fists incredibly fast and finished with a really high kick that went over Sevenas head.
"And the sorceress-" Gem started, but Sevena interrupted.
"I have my own weapon." She said, twirling her staff.
"You can't use that," he said, "It isnt strong enough. We want weapons which can inflict heavy damage, not ones that might give people bumps on their heads!"
"I'll use what I want to use!" she said angrily. Due to the town being deathly afraid of her, she was used to having her own way.
"Fine then! Do you want to see what a piece of crap that thing is?" Gem said, irritated. He drew out a huge gleaming metal sword. It glowed in the moonlight. It was as long as Sevena was from her waist up, and wider than her entire body.
"That is a big sword," Yuzra said. Her eyes shone admiration as she stared at the sword, then to Gem, then back to the sword.
Sevena raised her staff defensively, still to tired to actually be aware. As Gem brought down his sword, Sevena stuck up her staff to block it. There was a bright flash of bright yellow light as the two weapons clashed together.
"Stop!" Yuzra said, grabbing Gems arm. "Fighting will get us nowhere!"
"Hmmm..." Gem said, "I should have realized your staff would be magic."
"HEY! YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT PAST CURFEW?" a booming voice shouted, taking them all by surprise. Realizing swiftly that if she was caught, they instantly know who she was, Sevena quickly cast a transportation spell, hoping the guard that had spotted them would think it had been a dream.

Sevena, totally exhausted to the point she could hardly keep her eyes open, exited her home to go to the local grocery market.
"H-h-h-h-hey..." someone said, stuttering like people always did when addressing the Sorceress, "D-d-d-d-didn't you know that t-t-t-t-t-t-today the p-p-p-p-p-president uh, um, is um, ah, issuing a, uh, speech about something I-I-I-I-I-I-Important? I-I-I-I-I-I-I thought, um, everyone knew that..."
Sevena, suddenly filled with energy, bolted down to the outside stadium, where Sir Zero Nigh was finishing up a speech:
"And thus from this day forward, traitors WILL NOT be tolerated!"
The entire audience started cheering. Sevena pushed her way through the packed crowd and soon found Aerin.
"Hey," she said, "Look, theres Yuzra! Do you think she's actually going to do it?"
"Yes," Sevena said in her serious voice, "How she could stand him for so long is simply beyond me."
"Before we finish," Yuzra said into the microphone, "I'd like to say a few words about Elbee..." At this point, Elbee was beaming.
"He was indeed handsome, sweet and kind--when I met him," she began, "but ever since he realized the complete and total power his father had, he became corrupted. Evil, simply evil. Thus I would like to say that I am now, how do you say it, dumping him."
Very few people applauded. But many shone admiration in their faces, as Elbee slowly turned red. "Why, why you...I TRUSTED YOU!"
In a rage he reached toward his waist to grab what no one knows, but then out of the blue sky...
A man wearing all black swooped out of the sky and grabbed Yuzra around the waist, and dropping a note on the floor.
"Who was that?" Sevena asked, confused.
Elbee picked up the note and read it allowed:

"For the return of Yuzra, I am charging $5,000. If you want her back, take the money to..."

Suddenly Elbee crushed the note in his hand and motioned for his guards to push everyone out of the arena and back into the city.

As Sevena opened the door to her house, she found no less than 30 soldiers in her home, each searching for something.
"Ah, the sorceress!" one said, stepping forward. He flashed a piece of paper in front of her face. "We have a warrant for your arrest."
