Doctor Gres'cha Vix-Dor Chi XXII, Xenologist Alias: Bast-Anon Shebba (Trianii) Alias: Bin Kaba Tot (Human) Alias: Gravoobattac (Wookie) Alias: Kannna (Hutt) Few people know of Bast-Anon's secret. In fact, there is a lot about the person behind the Tranii face that a lot of people don't know. Bast-Anon is not truly a Tranii, nor has any of the faces that have been worn over so many years been the true one. Bast-Anon is a Shi'ido, a race of people that can change shape at will. This is limited only by the mass of their bodies and age, and is topped of by a telepathic image they implant to complete the illusion. In true form they appear white skinned and hairless, humanoid. Outsiders know little to none about the Shi'ido race, in fact when outsiders visit the homeworld, they often turn into trees and rocks and wild beasts to rid their planet of them. They are a very private race. In fact the truth of the matter is the Shi'ido are keeping records, in detail about every other race and other interesting facts of note about the known and unknown galaxy, which they store in huge memory rods at the core of their planet. Most members of the Shi'ido race are xenologists, exploring and recording the galaxy, and only come home to mate and return memory rods when a suitable transport cannot be found, those who stay behind are the keepers of the great library, and consider it a duty to keep those who are being studied from finding out about it. So they refuse at all times to speak of their culture. Aside from being able to change shape at will, another item of note about Shi'ido race is that they breed asexually, and they possess no sex, unlike most other races. In this way the Shi'ido people essentially immortal. Each new generation carries on their parent's name, as well as their memories, which become unlocked in maturity. Each Shi'ido name is actually signifying a number multiplied, as Gresh'cha is it's name, while Vix meaning five and Dor meaning Million, it's name is actually Gres'cha the five million and twenty second. In order to keep the Shi'ido from dying, they recognize they need to change constantly their genetic makeup, and they can at some level change themselves that way physically. Also, there may be many of the same mind alive at once, as they do not die for at least 100 years after their gestation period. Most Xenologists will almost never give out their true identity to any other than another Shi'ido. However, under dire circumstances the truth, but never the whole truth can be reveled. Some actually venture out into the world as Shi'ido and let it be know that they are shapechangers, but they are few and far between. Doctor Gres'cha was born to Doctor Gres'cha Vix-Dor XXI, and from birth, like all of the Gres'cha's raised to someday take on the form of it's assigned race and observe and record all that is found out. Like all Gres'cha, it was force sensitive from birth, not unlike much of it's species, who seems to have an unusual amount of force adepts, most likely from intense genetic reconfigurations. When it reached maturity and training for it's first assignment was complete, it took on the form of Kannna, a female Hutt, and spent fifty years recording the lives of Hutts. But it grew bored, they seemed only interested in power and were a most disgusting form to hold and maintain, though it was most complicated, Gres'cha was highly skilled in making higher mass creatures than most of it's other training-mates. So it asked to be changed to a much more interesting and enlightening race, the Wookie, who have only recently been freed from slavery, and consider honor a part of daily living. This time it took on the form of Gravoobattac, a male Wookie. Again disillusioned by that race by it's stunning brutality despite it's valued friendship, Gres'cha returned home again disappointed and early. This time the governing librarian counsel set Gres'cha for the Trianii Systems. There Gres'cha, under the name Bast-Anon, a female Trianii, finally found what it was looking for. Bast-Anon during her travels there met one of few Jedi that came back, a Jedi Counselor of the name Keefan Vhab. Though it was aware of the force at all times, and have heard mention of the famed Jedi Gres'cha had never seen one in real life before and was instantly entranced by their ease of manipulating force. So Gres'cha changed direction once again and began to follow the leads of the Jedi, observing those that would soon follow the way of the Jedi from a distance Gres'cha also sensed the dark side users, the ancient Sith, in the Empire's plans. So Gres'cha took on the form of Bin Kaba Tot, a male human rebel, and fought against the Empire. Gres'cha was there when Skywalker defeated his father, at the rebel base. Gres'cha afterwards decided to go back to Bast-Anon and continue her observations as a wandering warrior priestess missionary among the galaxy. Though her goal is to balance the force as her religious faith demands it. However, Gres'cha decided to hone it's own natural force talents and perhaps next generation it will become a new Jedi Knight, and the generation after that become a Sith Lord. Gres'cha loves to collect artifacts from the worlds it wanders, and the Library is proud to have them, and in the inner sanctum of the library where all Xenologist keep their family homes there is a proud collection of such artifacts which Gres'cha has managed to ship back home, including droids, artwork, vehicles, weapons and other miscellaneous stuff. Gres'cha views other races as interesting, perhaps amusing, but like most Shi'ido as perhaps lower level life forms than themselves.
