Artistic Director Steven McElroy
Steven McElroy has directed TNE productions of What Happened Was..., Inertia, Romeo and Juliet, And The Skies Were Opened, PIG, Hostage and V: The Life of Henry Plantagentet (also adapt.), which performed in New York and also at Theatre 99 in Charleston, SC, as part of the 2001 Piccolo Spoleto Festival.

Steven is also a member of Emerging Artists Theatre Co. (EAT) and has directed their productions of Screaming in the Wilderness, The Uninvited Guest, SPREAD 'EM, Roller Coasting With Fabio, Someplace Warm (winner, 2001 Samuel French New Play Competition), The Beast In Me, Forward Motion Matters, Night of the Beansnake and Dansport.

Other New York directing credits include
Awaken the Wolves (winner, SpotlightON best production, 2002), Coyote Ugly, FLIES and Little Egypt (Sensurround, Inc.), Three Sisters (LITE/Chekhov Now!) and many others.

Steven is also an actor, and New York theatre credits include: Bottom in
A Midsummer Night's Dream (LITE), Lomov in The Proposal (LITE), Ed Bronstein in Camp Holocaust (LITE/Present Co.), Puppy in Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom (TNE/All Out Arts), the title role in Hamlet (TNE), The Cherry Orchard and The Jubilee (Chekhov Now! Festival), Hotbed (Miranda), Michael John Garces' suits (Twilight) and others.

Steven teaches dramatic literature courses for the United Federation of Teachers and several other organizations, focusing on Shakespeare, Chekhov and other classical playwrights.
