Last year Rachel traveled to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to perform in a modern interpretation of the story of Joan of Arc and is proud to say she performed 28 of the 29 days she spent in Scotland and saw 25 other shows at the festival.

Improvisationally speaking, Rachel has performed with The Comedy Warehouse in Orlando and in shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and at Surf Reality with Kleptomania here in NYC. Her instructors have included Greg Triggs, Kevin Mullaney, Michael Delaney,  Bowie and Jamie Denbo.

Rachel is a staff member at the STEPS Young Dancers Program, teaching 2 and 3 year olds creative movement. She has also taught social issues classes to all ages from 4 to 18 years old, using creative dramatics and movement. It is this that has helped develop her comedic wit. Thanks kids

Special training has included workshops with Shakespeare & Co., vocal training with Matt Eisenstein, Susan Russell and Flo E. Presti  in NYC and Elizabeth Wiley of the College of William & Mary, and mask technique with The Trestle Theatre Co. of London and Cindy Gold from Northwestern University.

Rachel graduated cum laude from The University of Mississippi, with a BFA in performance, and minors in English and Costume Design. She would like to give a special thanks to professors Rooth Varland, Scott McCoy, Rene Pulliam and Elizabeth Wiley.

She is so happy to be working for the fourth time with the insightful and creative Steven McElroy and for the third time with the hilariously witty, poetic and touching Bash Halow, without which she would be performing for herself in front of her mirror this week!
