Who's Who in the Cast:
PAUL ANGELO (Macbeth):
Paul earned an MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, where he performed a number of roles in both mainstage and student productions. He is the Co-Artistic Director, as well as a founding member of TNE. He played Romeo in the company's debut production of
Romeo + Juliet in September 1998. Last season, Paul directed The Hunger Waltz, which went on to appear in the NY International Fringe Festival. His playwrighting debut this season brought us Hostage. He would like to thank everyone involved in TNE and her projects for their faith, dedication and impossible dreams.
DARRIN FITZGERALD (Macduff and others):
is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts. He recently worked on the film
The Believer, on HBO's Oz and has appeared on Comedy Central's Upright Citizen's Brigade and on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. He is currently writing a screenplay while seeking work in television and film.
NELL GWYNN (Lady Macbeth):
Nell is enjoying her second year in New York, where she has played Horatio in
Hamlet, the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet and Portia in The Merchant of Venice. She also played Maria in the Princeton Repertory Company's production of Twelfth Night. Nell hails from Miami, where she found success in such roles as Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (also Producer), Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Diana in Lend Me A Tenor. Her work in South Florida earned her two Carbonnel nominations for best supporting actress. She is thrilled to have this opportunity.
DUNCAN HAZZARD (Duncan, Porter and others):
Duncan has appeared in numerous Off and Off-Off Broadway productions including;
All Through The House at the Manhattan Theatre Club, Happy Days at the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theatre and Richard II at the Fairbanks Hudson Theatre on Theatre Row. This is first appearance with The New Ensemble Theatre Company, Inc.
HEATHER LAMB (Ross and others):
Regional credits include;
The Voice of The Prairie, The Clearing, Bell, Book and Candle, Olympia, The Blindfold, Lover's Leap and A Christmas Carol, all with the St. Croix Festival Theatre in St. Croix Falls, WI. Heather has also appeared in several productions with the Illinois Repertory Theatre and with The Seattle Public Theatre. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaigne.
DAVID LOOK (Lennox and others):
David is quite enthusiastic to be working on The New Ensemble Theatre Company's
Macbeth. Previous Bard credits include Mercutio, Bassanio and Laertes. Thanks to Bob and Paul for the opportunity.
TANISHA THOMPSON (Banquo and others):
Previous credits include: Decius/Messala in Judith Shakespeare's gender-bending
Julius Caesar, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Moll in The Roaring Girl, Josie in The Skriker at WOW Cafe, Moreira in Gross National Product at The Kitchen, Veronica in Valley Song and Thami in My Children/My Africa. She is excited to be part of this group of talented folks. Hi Jan.
JASON WILLIAMS (Malcolm and others):
Jason is happy to be working once again with his favorite tennis partner, Bob D'Haene. This summer he played Victor in
Four Dogs and A Bone and appeared in the premier production of Flood, both at the Producer's Club. Jason is currently in his final year of graduate school at the Actor's Studio.
