�The Dragon Balls� we see Kakarot shout, �Why don�t we use them to undo the Majin curse?� Chris shakes his head, �Not possible, otherwise I would�ve suggested it at the start.� Kakarot sits back down; Recomme stands up, �Why is it not possible?� Chris again answers, �Because the Dragon Balls don�t have that much power�� Recomme looks pissed, �Why don�t we just kill Babidi?� Goku looks annoyed, �because he�s immortal!� Recomme shakes his head, �Yeah, but what if we wished him to be mortal again?� Chris stands up, �That�s a great idea!� Everyone gets up, �Okay guys, let�s split into teams of two and search a different city each. We should get done faster that way. When one of us has gathered all seven, head back to the look out and summon it. The black sky should give us all a clue. Be warned though, with me here, you�ll be dealing with Shenron himself.� Chris walks up to Krillin, �Let�s go buddy.� Krillin nods and the two fly off. Goku leaves with his old rival Kakarot, Recomme is being kept on a short leash by Goten and the two Kakarot students Piccolo and Kakarotto leave together. Pikkon is told to stay at the palace and look after Sakura and Marron, who have since been airlifted to the palace.
And so starts Chapter One of the Longest Battle�
Opening Theme
�Can you believe it?� asks Krillin to Chris, �It�s nearly 3200 NU and we�re still being used to help the Earth when it�s in dire trouble.� Chris smiles, �Yeah well� I�m sure they could�ve done it by themselves, but since we�ve got personal interests in this conflict, I pulled a few strings�� Krillin smiles back, �Good, I hate sitting out and watching this kind of stuff�� The two continue flying towards their destination: New Hanten City. A small black spaceship connects to the large ship Kaditsu and the other Saiyajin arrived in. We see Bardock nervously pacing back and forth. A door opens and a man with two guards (one of each gender) walks into view. �Ah, Lord Tolow�� Tolow looks pissed, �Not right now Bardock, tell me what happened to my father.� Bardock scratches the back of his head, �Well, Kaditsu was killing some Earthlings when this old guy arrived and froze everyone in place. He then seemingly brought Kaditsu under his control and they flew off together�� Tolow shakes his head, �Not possible! My father is too strong to be controlled!� Bardock doesn�t know what to say, Tolow hits the wall of the ship, �Saja (the female guard stands to attention), Paiku (the male guard stands to attention) let�s go down to the Earth and see for ourselves. Bardock, show us where you last saw father.� The four leave for Earth in a small pod. �I guess this city is a likely target.� Kakarot says as he looks at a smallish city that hasn�t been seen before, �Yeah, it�s worth a check.� Responds Goku, they both fly into the city. �Excellent� We see Babidi looking over a few sets of Dragon Balls, �You�re doing well my fighters�� suddenly Majin Senko lands with a black bag and drops another set on the large table, �Well done my soldier. Soon Phase One will be complete��
�Ah� we�re back!� shouts Recomme as he and Goten look out across Minopilis City, �Let�s go!� They both fly into the city. We then see Kakarotto and Piccolo, Piccolo looks annoyed, �Damn it Kakarotto! I don�t know why you hate me so much but today is a bit more important than me and you!� Kakarotto shrugs, �I suppose you�re right�� They both fly into an unidentified city. �So this is New Hanten�� Krillin says as he and Chris walk around on the ground level, �So there�s an underground and sky zone again?� Chris wonders, and then catches sight of Majin Sagat with a black bag over his shoulder, �Oh crap!� Krillin shouts as he notices his as well, �Oh crap!� Krillin shouts again as Jan walks up to Sagat with a smile on his face, and then gets knocked back into a building. Chris and Krillin jump in front of the downed Jan, who looks up and sees his dead father, �Wha� What the HELL??? Father!?� Krillin smiles and says, �I�ll explain in a minute�� Majin Sagat starts to laugh as he puts his bag on the floor and turns Super Saiyan. �Okay�. Maybe I�ll explain now�� Krillin and Chris get ready to defend. We then see a female soldier throwing and catching a Dragon Ball in the air, she�s talking to someone on the phone, �Yes master Ryson� Five already� Just two more and you can wish for your lost love and I can get a promotion�� We hear the voice down the phone, �Ha, I like your honesty General Cinos, keep up the good work.� Cinos puts the phone down and smiles as she looks into the Dragon Ball. Kakarotto and Piccolo are walking around a familiar looking town. They walk around a corner and see Majin Vegeta standing in front of two large gates outside a prison� the same prison where the story began. Vegeta turns around and smiles as the two warriors, �I take it you two are some of the new Earth Warriors? Well, this town is Tancho, where it all began. It�s time for a history lesson�� Vegeta cracks his knuckles in anticipation, but then stops as he looks into Kakarotto�s eyes, �Who are you? What is your name?� Kakarotto smiles, �I am Kakarotto!� Vegeta looks stunned, �Kakarotto?� he thinks to himself, �If I remember rightly, adding �to� to the end of a name in Saiyan is the same as adding Junior on the end on Earth� does that mean?�
Recomme and Goten land to see Banpai and Juuson on a floor and getting up, Juuson wipes some blood off of his face and sees Goten and Recomme land, �It�s about time, what took you guys so long?� Recomme scratches the back of his head, �Man� long, long story�� Goten has focused his eyes a head of Banpai and Juuson to the people who knocked them to the floor, Recomme looks round and sees Majin Gohan and Majin Bora. Gohan draws his sword, Goten does the same. They then jump onto a nearby roof and start to battle, with Goten hopelessly trying to talk his brother around. Recomme, Juuson and Banpai take fighting stances as Bora approaches them. We then see another Dragon Ball being picked up, this time by Kaditsu. �That�s all seven. Looks like Gomu is another city you can tick off.� Suddenly Kaditsu sees Bardock land with Tolow and his two guards. �It was around here that� huh?� Bardock notices Kaditsu, �Oh� here he is�� Tolow pushes past Bardock and looks his father in the eye, �Father, it�s me� what�s wrong with you? Come back with us and we can get our doctors to help you� forget Earth for now�� Kaditsu smiles, �I can�t forget Earth. It�s where my master lives�� Tolow shakes his head, �I know you�ve got stronger will than this!� Kaditsu pushes Tolow backwards into the other Saiyajin. Kaditsu turns Super Saiyan Elite and then fires a huge blast upwards into the sky. We see the two Saiyajin ships get blown to pieces. Kaditsu looks at the shocked Saiyajin, �That should convince you where my loyalty lies. You�re lucky it�s only Phase One�� Kaditsu flies away. Paiku looks worried, �What the hell do we do now?� Tolow shakes his head, �I don�t know� I�ll think of something�� They all just sit there.
We see Kakarot and Goku approach a man who is has a Dragon Ball tied around his neck. �Excuse me sir, may I have a look at that necklace.� Goku says politely, the man jumps up, �So, General Cinos has new troops eh? Well I�m not letting this fall into Shadow Law Army hands, whatever it is.� Kakarot looks insulted, �You think we work for the Shadow Law Army? Please�� Goku nods, �It�s true, we just need them for good.� The man refuses to believe them until a young man runs up to Kakarot, �WOW! Master Kakarot from Kakarot�s Gym! You�re one of the strongest on Earth! Have came to help Ryu take down the Shadow Law Army base over there?� A large construction site is seen off in the distance, Kakarot nods, �Sure. We�re actually collecting the same Dragon Balls they are, but for good purposes.� The young man looks excited, �Of course, of course!� Ryu stands up, �Okay, by the sound of Leon�s fit you guys are on the right side. I�ll give you my Dragon Ball if you help me take out General Cinos and her men.� Goku and Kakarot agree and the four start devising a plan. We then Majin Sagat trying his best to beat three exceptional fighters and loosing. He is hit into a building and finds a Dragon Ball, �Ah ha! Fools, triple team me will you�� Sagat gets up and jumps into the air and shouts, �Thanks for the warm up, you�re lucky this isn�t Phase Two!� Chris and Krillin look surprised as Sagat puts the Dragon Ball into the bag, Krillin gets a brief glimpse inside the bag and sees it�s full of Dragon Balls. Sagat puts his hands by the side of his face and shouts, �SOLAR FLARE!� and soon everyone on the floor is covered in blinding light. Sagat flies away. �He� He�s got the Dragon Balls�� Krillin shouts to Chris as both are trying to clear there eyes, �Right... Let�s head back to the floating palace once we can see!� Krillin nods and Jan falls over in the background holding his eyes.
We see Piccolo with a shocked look on his face, �No� What power!� We see Vegeta in his Dark Super Saiyan 2 form, with added Majin power! Vegeta punches Piccolo in the gut causing him to start slowly stepping backwards in pain. Vegeta then fires a huge one-handed blast that knocked Piccolo into a building and out of consciousness. Vegeta looks at Kakarotto, �You don�t seem that upset about it�� Kakarotto smiles, �It was about time he suffered a defeat for a change, but I won�t be so easily intimidated.� Kakarotto turns Super Saiyan and prepares to attack, �Of course. Kakarot was a full-blooded Saiyan.� Kakarotto looks annoyed, �As was my mother� how do you know all this?� Vegeta laughs, �Why because I�m your grandfather!� Kakarotto looks shocked, Vegeta continues, �Yes, I�m Vegeta of the royal� Vejita bloodline. But by the looks of things that bloodline has been all but destroyed.� Kakarotto looks annoyed again, �Yes, fighting for the good of the Earth� you make our ancestors sick. Where�s your ruthlessness? Where is your thirst for power? Your father had it the last time I checked� something must of happened�� Kakarotto tries to shake it off, �Enough!� Kakarotto tries to attack Vegeta but he blocks every move and floors Kakarotto with a knee to the chin. �Dear boy� you have no idea of your lineage. Knowing your father, I�m sure he�s kept that royal ancestry book he used to preach from when I was around for that crazy day back in 3178�� Kakarotto looks confused, �The day of Hell on Earth?� Vegeta smirks, �Have fun reading� maybe one day you�ll become King� Now I must continue to serve that fool Babidi� he may be able to give me orders, but I refuse to be his slave�� Vegeta flies away. Kakarotto looks confused, �King? What haven�t you told me father?�
We see Banpai and Juuson go flying and hitting into each other, fall unconscious back to back. Recomme looks at them from in the sky, �Damn� who is this guy?� Bora flies to meet him, �I am Bora! I should�ve gone down in your history as the man who ended the human race and destroyed Earth� the final chapter in you insignificant lives� but no, now I�m just another �bad guy� in Hell with no success to speak of.� Recomme smiles, �Which family member killed you?� Bora looks mad, �Third generation Jericho huh?� Recomme looks surprised as Bora presses his Scouter, �I love this thing�� Recomme shakes his head and fires a blast that catches Bora by surprise. He goes flying backwards and as he does he spies an orange light at the top of a clock tower. He flies there and finds the last Dragon Ball they need. �Gohan!� Bora shouts as Gohan and Goten still fight on the roofs of the city, �I�ve got the last ball. Remember, this isn�t Phase Two.� Gohan nods and starts to fly away with Bora. Goten and Recomme jump after them, but they get hit by attacks from the two of them. When they both get up, Bora and Gohan are long gone. Goten and Recomme look pissed off.
�This is the place.� Ryu says with a expectant smile, another young man runs behind Leon, �Are we ready?� he says, Ryu looks annoyed, �Doyo� you should stay back� the same goes for you Leon. I don�t need your help now I have these two.� They both look insulted, Leon speaks: �We don�t care. This is our city as well. We want to protect it with you Ryu!� Ryu smiles, �Fine. So be it.� The five of them walk towards the gate when General Cinos and four Shadow Law Army soldiers jump down in front of them. �No! How did they know?� Cinos laughs, �We had an insider�� Kagirin walks up behind Doyo and Leon and says, �Sorry I�m late for the plan boys� Hahaha.� They both fires blasts that knock Kagirin down to the floor, but he gets up, �That would�ve killed me� but hey� what�s new?� Goku looks surprised, �You�re back?� Kagirin nods to Goku words, �Yeah. Don�t talk to your son much?� Goku closes his fist, �We�ve been a bit busy�� Kakarot turns Super Saiyan 2, �Enough of this mindless talking!� Goku smiles and turns Super Saiyan 2 as well, Ryu looks shocked and then smiles, �We can actually do this!� We then see the Saiyajins have finally decided what to do, �We�ll kill the wizard controlling him! That might stop the spell� maybe�� says Bardock, Tolow agrees, �Yes, it�s worth a shot. Let�s deal with my father now and the lack to transport later.� Everyone nods and flies away.
We see the battle against the Shadow Law Army, �Man, these guys are actually strong! By far the strongest Shadow Law Army guys I�ve ever seen.� Goku says as Kakarot and himself are back to back in fighting stances, General Cinos laughs again, �Of course! We are the elite unit of Shadow Law Army, approved by Ryson himself! Now Ragol and Belra, finish those two Saiyans off, Garanz can take Ryu and Thalok can handle the two boys.� Goku and Kakarot battle Ragol and Belra evenly, while Ryu is having trouble with Garanz. Leon and Doyo are having trouble with Thalok, to the point where Leon is hit hard to the ground and as Doyo jumps in the air to attack, he is blasted through the chest and dies before hitting the ground. Ryu sees what happens and runs over. Leon cries out that he�s dead, Ryu seemingly can�t handle it and grabs his head and he falls to his knees. �NO! I told you to stay back� I�m a failure!� Ryu runs off into the streets and Leon looks sad but runs after him, General Cinos shakes her head when Thalok asks if he should go after them. At that same moment Ragol and Belra falls to the floor hurt, �What? How can you be loosing!� Goku turns his attention to behind Cinos, where he spots Majin Senko. �Oh no�� Cinos turns around, �Who are you?� Majin Senko smirks, �Thanks for collecting the rest of these for me.� Senko holds up a full bag of Dragon Balls, � It saved me a lot of time.� General Cinos looks mad, �How dare you break into�� before she can say anymore Senko knocks her across the floor and into the arms of Thalok. Goku and Kakarot prepare to attack, but Majin Senko shakes his head slowly, �Not right now� It�s still only phase one�� Senko fires two huge blasts into the ground in front of them, causing a big enough distraction that Senko could escape. Kakarot and Goku look annoyed and decide to head back to the palace. General Cinos looks confused.
A Short While Later�
Everyone has met up again at the Floating Palace, Chris explains a possible reason for Babidi to collect the Dragon Balls, �Back when Babidi was a mortal there was only one set of Dragon Balls on Earth, just like on the other planets we visited. When Babidi made his wish, he cast a spell splitting the Dragon Balls into many different copies, not only making them seem worthless to the common man, but cutting the power drastically. My only guess is that he now knows that people know of the Dragon Balls and the best way to once again stop people form using them would be to put them back to the original set.� Everyone looks worried. We see Babidi with his army standing in the background. He does indeed cast a spell across the room full of Dragon Balls and returns them to the single set they once were in a spectacular light display. The Dragon Balls glows like never before. We then see Chris holding his head and then letting out a huge scream followed by a huge burst of power that causes the Palace to shake. Once it�s over Krillin approaches him, �Well, I guess it�s not all bad that the Dragon Balls are back to full power.� Goku stands up, �Right! With Shenron back to full power, father�s power from the eternal dragon is also at full power!� Chris looks amazed at the new power he has been given, �Well� this should help.� He says with a smile on his face.
We then see Babidi turn to his men, �I know you�ve been dying for this. In three days time, December 30th, Phase Two shall begin!� Everyone looks happy.
