Death~Valley's Hall of Fame Inductee-Ricky Steamboat
Debuting in 1976, Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat became one of the most popular wrestlers in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Steamboat worked for the NWA for the beginning of his career, until in '85 when he was brought into the WWF/E.  In his tenure in the company, Ricky had a CLASSIC match with Randy Savage at WrestleMania III for the Intercontinental Championship.
After a little arguments with management, Ricky was never given another solid push, and The Honky Tonk Man won the ICT Championship from him.

Then in 1989, Ricky joined the late NWA - early WCW company, to join his friend, and fellow inductee - Ric Flair.  After winning the title from Flair, Steamboat played in the main event scene, and then made a very small stint back in the WWF.

Shortly after, however, Steamboat left once again, and joined WCW, playing in the mid-card for the tag team titles, US title, and TV title.

In 1994, Ricky was injured in a match with Steve Austin, and retired for good in August '94.  Since then, Steamboat has played roles in NWA-TNA and ROH.

I am proud to induct Ricky Steamboat into the Death~Valley Hall of Fame!
