Alisa sat down in her Master's quarters and swallowed the fear that threatened to overtake her. *She knows,* was all Alisa could think. Finally Sierra turned to her apprentice and said, "What the hell were you thinking, Alisa?" "B..But..." was all Alisa could get out before Sierra started really getting after her. "Alisa, you know better than to do what you did!" Sierra's green eyes blazed as she used the Force to calm herself down. "I love him, is that so wrong?" Alisa said, trying not to give in to her tears. "No, it's not wrong to love somebody," Sierra said quietly, sitting down next to the girl who'd become almost like the daughter she'd never had. "Then why are you and Qui-Gon so upset?" Alisa sniffled. Sierra said, "Because of what you two did." "I kept telling him we'd get into trouble..." Alisa said quietly.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Jedi Temple.... "I..I guess you and Sierra talked, didn't you?" Obi-Wan Kenobi said quietly. Qui-Gon nodded and said, "And we decided that you and Alisa can't see each other anymore." Obi-Wan sat back and sighed. *I knew it,* he thought miserably. *I'm never going to see her again...*

Sierra and Qui-Gon watched from the door as Obi-Wan and Alisa said goodbye. "I can't believe they're doing this to us," Alisa sniffled. Obi-Wan nodded and said, "I can't either...but we'll see each other again someday, I promise..." Alisa looked up at him with hazel eyes full of tears and Obi-Wan couldn't help it and kissed her one last time as Qui-Gon came up to them. "We have to go now," he said. Alisa managed to keep her emotions under control until both men were gone, and then she burst into tears. "This is so not fair!" she cried. Sierra tried to calm her apprentice down as she said, "You knew the rules, Alisa." "I...I know," the young woman sobbed. "But I didn't know saying goodbye would hurt this much." Sierra gave Alisa a hug and left her alone to cry.

On the Republic cruiser that was taking them to Naboo, Obi-Wan locked himself in his quarters and didn't come out unless he absolutely had to. Qui-Gon was starting to get worried a little bit, so he decided to see what was up.

Qui-Gon lightly knocked on Obi-Wan's door, and when he didn't get an answer he quietly let himself in. "Obi-Wan, are you all right?" he asked. Obi-Wan looked at his Master and shook his head. "I've just been separated from the woman I love for who knows how long, does it *LOOK* like I'm all right?" "You knew the rules," Qui-Gon said, pulling up a chair. Obi-Wan nodded and quietly said, "But I never thought we'd get caught." "You and Alisa took that chance every time you..." "I know, so what's your point?" Obi-Wan was almost in tears by this point, and he stopped, attempting to rein in his emotions. "I'm sorry," he finally said, "It's just..." "I know you miss her," Qui-Gon said. "In fact, I know exactly how you feel." "What do you mean?" Obi-Wan said as he sat up. Qui-Gon sighed and said, "When I was your age, the exact same thing happened to me..." "It did? With who?" Obi-Wan was curious now. The answer he was about to get would haunt him forever, he knew. "Sierra." "Sierra? As in...." Obi-Wan was surprised. Qui-Gon nodded. "That's why we decided to do what we did...we didn't want you and Alisa getting into as much trouble with the Council as we did." Obi-Wan just sat there silent, trying to make sense of everything. Qui-Gon got to his feet and said, "I'll leave you alone if you want to." Obi-Wan nodded and with that, Qui-Gon left, leaving him to his thoughts about Alisa.

Naboo, Two Years Later

************

"I'm trying to focus!" Anakin Skywalker said as he slowly swung his lightsaber. "But I"m just not getting it!" "Keep trying, Anakin," Obi-Wan said absently, trying to shake the feeling that he was being watched. "You'll get it..." "Hey who's she?" Anakin asked suddenly, straightening up and switching off his lightsaber. Obi-Wan turned around and nearly felt his heart stop. Walking towards him was an incredibly beautiful blonde with intense hazel eyes. "A..Alisa?" he said in a whisper of disbelief. "Who else?" Alisa said, giving him a hug. "I missed you so much," she whispered. Anakin saw his chance and snuck off to go hang out with Queen Amidala for a while. "Where's Sierra?" Obi-Wan asked when Alisa finally let go. The young woman's face fell as she said, "She died six months ago." "I'm sorry..." Obi-Wan stayed quiet for a moment then said, "Qui-Gon died about a week after we got here." "Then why didn't you come back to Coruscant to find me?" Alisa asked. Obi-Wan sighed. "Because I knew that Sierra was still alive and she would NOT be happy to see me," he answered. Alisa nodded and said, "So now what?" "I don't know," Obi-Wan said. Just then Anakin ran back out. "The Queen's in trouble!" he yelled.

Obi-Wan and Alisa dashed into the throne room, his lightsaber glowing green, hers lavender. "What's going on?" Alisa asked Anakin. The eleven-year-old replied, "Somebody got past Captain Panaka and is trying to kill her!" Alisa nodded and said, "Get her out of here, NOW!" Anakin ran behind the throne and literally dragged Amidala towards the door. "Come on," Alisa could hear him saying. The assassin turned around and Alisa suddenly felt like she couldn't move. She tried to focus but she couldn't..suddenly a blaster went off and hit her square in the stomach. She dropped to her knees and let out a stifled scream of pain. "Alisa!" Obi-Wan yelled, running to her side. "Alisa, talk to me!" Eirtae yelled across the room to Captain Panaka, "Go after him, we'll cover you in here!" The head of security nodded and ran after the assassin, while Eirtae and Sabe guarded the door, blasters in hand. "How is she?" Sabe asked. Obi-Wan looked up at her with tears in his eyes. "Not good," he said. "Whatever it was clouded her Force ability so he could shoot her." Sabe bit her lip because she knew hoe he felt about Alisa. "Obi-Wan?" the soft voice made him look back at the woman in his arms. "Just hold on Alisa the medics'll be here soon." Alisa managed to shake her head slightly. "I'm not going to make it," she whispered. "Alisa don't say that," Obi-Wan practically begged her. The young woman shook her head. "Just remember I'll always love you," she managed to say before she slipped away. "Alisa...no..." Obi-Wan whispered just as Anakin and Amidala ran back in. "What happened?" Anakin cried. "She...she's dead," Obi-Wan said, trying not to give in to the onslaught of tears that he knew would hit him if he looked at anybody. "Oh no," Amidala breathed, looking at Anakin, who wasn't sure what to do.

Alisa funeral had been a couple of days earlier and Obi-Wan was still having a hard time with it. *I just got her back and now she's dead,* he thought miserably, just as Sabe walked in. "The Queen wants to see you," was all she said. Obi-Wan nodded and headed for the throne room. Queen Amidala was sitting on the throne looking over some things on her desk when the Jedi walked in. "You wanted to see me?" he said. Amidala nodded and handed him a box. "I found this when Anakin and I were going through Alisa's things yesterday." She handed him a letter. Obi-Wan looked at it oddly and opened it.

Dear Obi-Wan, If you're reading this, then I must be dead. There's something I never told you. The day Qui-Gon and Sierra seperated us I was six weeks pregnant. Our daughter Raina is on Tatooine with Anakin's mother. I want you to go find her and tell her what happened to me, and tell her I'll always love her, and I'll always love you too.

Love always, Alisa

Obi-Wan nodded and made a silent vow then and there that he was going to find his daughter and tell her everything.

The End...maybe....
