Transportation and Safety
This committee will:
· track the impact of existing and planned road changes in the area of the school and along major transportation routes leading to the school (i.e., Rt 7).
· communicate with the Office of Transportation Services to deal with busing
· ensuring safe access to the school by walkers, perhaps including securing a position for a crossing guard if needed
· oversee the placement of appropriate signage and lighting
· address issues as they arise.
Look back in mid-June. The committee is meeting on June 10th and will refine the scope and purpose of this committee.
