Landscaping

This committee met with county regarding how our revisions to the existing landscape plan, at this stage, can be incorporated. The county wants to have any revised landscape plan approved by the Shouse Village Civic Association Board (because the school is adjacent to this neighborhood) and the school committee, and wants a copy of the meeting minutes where the revised landscaping plan was approved.

This committee will try to forge partnerships with local nurseries to donate to the new school.  Currently, Spring Hill has a receipts program with J. Byron and Merrifield to provide 10% of the total receipt in merchandise.  One of our members asked the Wolftrap Nursery about participating in a similar program and was told they are interested.
