Interior Colors

 

This committee has chosen the colors for interior materials of the school as outlined by the county. The county requested input by the end of June 2002 so they could place an order. 

 

The interior colors committee has picked particular samples from the (limited!) range of colors provided by the county.  We picked actual samples for the carpet, corridor tiles, accent tiles, classroom tiles, the cafeteria stage curtain, the administration and classroom countertops, and the bathroom tiles and partitions, and the paint colors for the highlighted walls and doorframes in the classrooms, administrative areas, cafeteria, and gym.  Given the limited choices in some materials and the desire for a simple color scheme that would allow the walls, trim, and floors to match, the committee picked a “color theme” using mostly blues and greens with some yellow accents.

 

There are issues being addressed such as adding more carpeting for the SACC rooms; improving the rather cave-like interior school entrance; and the feasibility of upgrading the flooring materials in the gym.
