PIANISTS AT NEW CLOVER CREEK

Beulah Marie Keenan O'Connell served as pianist until September 10, 1956. Although she did not become a member until 1940, the older members interviewed believe she served as pianist from 1935, when the church building was finished at its present site.

Hilda Ann Jolly Taul, was elected September 10, 1955 and resigned April 14, 1956.

Catherine Carter Edgerton Wilson, wife of our pastor, was elected April 14, 1956.

Shirley Taul was elected August 20, 1958.

Linda Faye Taul was elected in August, 1963.

Jeane "Johnye" Elizabeth Wheatley was elected July 25, 1964.

Linda Faye Taul was elected July 10, 1965, and re-elected September 10, 1966; she transferred her letter February, 1971, to Third Baptist Church in Owensboro.

Mary Ruth Bates, though not elected, served intermitently as pianist after Linda Taul left, and remained until Alliene Hughes was elected.

Alliene Hughes was elected April 4, 1971, and remained until her father resigned as pastor in April, 1974.

Linda Faye Taul Shultz was became pianist after the Hugheses left New Clover Creek. She was formally elected August 4, 1974, and served until October 1, 1975.

Sharon Virlee Eskridge Miller was elected July 6, 1975, to serve from October 1, 1975, until September 30, 1976; reelected July 4, 1976 to serve from October 1, 1976 until September 30, 1977.

Linda Faye Taul Shultz was elected July 31, 1977, to begin October 1, 1977. She was reelected each year afterward. When the new church bylaws were adopted in July, 1987, the pianist was not elected by the church body but was appointed by the Music Committee. She was reappointed pianist by the committee until her resignation in November, 1991.

Sharon Virlee Eskridge Miller became pianist upon Linda Shultz's resignation in November, 1991, and remained pianist until October 1, 1994.

Linda Faye Taul Shultz resumed the position of pianist in October, 1994.
