| The wicked Baroness
Snatcher, with the aid of the bad-tempered fairy
Maleficent, plot to overthrow the Grand Old Duke,
Frederick, and rule in his place. But Colin, newly
arrived in York, assisted by Old Mother Shipton and the
townspeople, foil her plans. The action takes place in and around the
ancient City of York and Milton Keynes in Medieval times.
