Welcome to the homepage of the Fire Department of New Brick City or FDNB. This website is under construction but is well underway. I am basically just converting from the Yahoo PageBuilder to regular HTML and re-doing some (basically ALL) graphics. This new page has the same layout but is much cleaner in my oppinion.

News:
11/15/08: NEW SITE IS LIVE! Any bugs or broken links please tell me! Or any feedback you have about the new site!
11/2008: New HTML page started

As of this writing, the 'Old 6-wide' units are what is actually built as shown. I am working on building real versions of my 8-wide (and other larger scale) MLCAD models but for now I am just making decent life-like renders to display them.

In addition to the FDNB units, the Industrial Way Volunteer Fire Department provides 2 engines, 1 ladder, and a utility vehicle as aid to the FDNB in addition to their normal response area in the industrial district of New Brick.

Notes...
All my vehicles are done by looking at photographs, models and now official drawings when possible. Because of my lack of real pieces at times, I usually end up building a vehicle and then going back later to do details. Although with MLCAD pieces are not a problem, I still end up making my models better as I try new ideas. Delays in posting things are usually because I am trying to find the best option BEFORE posting the model.
I am also a purist (no cutting/painting) so that adds to my piece crises. That, however, may change with a sudden addiction to LED lights. This gentlemen opened the door for me. Although in German, the point got across. One day I will find the time to work on it and make it happen. THAT will be a glorious day for me.
In 2008 I began a total revamp of New Brick City. I moved to a scale of 1 stud=1 foot. So I am moving to 8 wide trucks. The difference between the move from 6 to 8 wide and 4 to 6 wide is that I will be utilizing MLCAD so pieces will not be an issue for initial designs. I hope to actually build things later.
