Nunnehi FAQ

Families native to the Southeast U. S.:
Nanehi; Yunwi Amai'yine'hi (Water People); Yunwi Tsundsi (Little People); Thought Crafters

Even though there are thirteen Nunnehi families, only these three are native to the Southeast U. S. where New Bremen is located. Therefore only these three families will be getting sanctioned for New Bremen.

Native American tribes that are native to the Southeast U. S.:
Cherokee; Choctaw; Chickasaw; Creek; Seminole; Natchez; Catawba; Yuchi; Clusa; Caddo; Tunica-Biloxi

Players may choose from the listed tribal Nations for a Nunnehi character's tribe. The Five Civilized Tribes were the most common of these tribes in the Southeast U. S. There were also several smaller tribes in this region that are not listed here.

Legacies:
You must choose a Summer and Winter Legacy. There are occasionally midseason characters as well. [Summer (Dogwood), Winter (Rock), Midseason (Laurel).]

Backgrounds
Several backgrounds have limits and a few need to be approved by the Story Tellers before they can be used in the game. STs must approve Chimera, Treasures, and Spirit Companion. Spirit Companion is restricted to level 3 and lower at creation.

Holdings are heavily restricted and will not be allowed on creation. Resources are limited to 3; maximum of 4 at the STs discretion.

Totem is restricted. You may not have more than one totem at creation. In addition, the totem must be chosen carefully and must make sense for the Southeast U. S.

There are 12 totems of various levels listed for Nunnehi Fae. However, not all of these totems are available in New Bremen since they make no sense whatsoever for the Southeast U. S.

The totems that represent spirits that would be found in abundance in the Southeast U. S.:
Birch; Cottonwood; Dogwood; Maize; Tobacco; Whitewater

These totems are almost never found in the Southeast U. S. and are not allowed:
Fireweed; Granite; Ice; Saguaro Cactus; Sandstone
