Dear Friend,
Today we ponder the blessings of New Beginnings House of Prayer. What we have truly been experiencing in this oasis of peace, tranquility, love. The many who walk through our doors with sometimes very hopeless situations, or some who may just need a mentor or prayer on the way. Teenagers who seek healing and find the miraculous works of God for their deep needs. New Beginnings is a place for all...all who desire to encounter God and what he has to offer each one of us, Healing...peace..comfort...guidance...retreat...love and much prayer.
COMMUNITY...a place where together, we encounter unity and contemplative living with an apostolic vision. Groups that study the true monastics of our lifetime, spirituality and definition of who
God has truly desired us to be. In some cases peeling off the layers of false self to encounter the true self that God desired us to be before he formed us in our mothers womb. We are daily learning to embrace our life, no matter where we may be in it. We are coming to this realization that "everything belongs" and we must learn to embrace all things and ask God to encounter us here in the moment, it is here that we can walk through ALL things with Christ. Community, a place to be who we are, to love our brothers and sisters just where they are, together to walk the journey God has placed us in. We have chosen to help one another, unconditionally, no matter what it may be, to love as God loves the church and has commanded us to do the same. We are here for one another and for you, we turn no one away, we love the stranger as ourself.
RETREAT...So many retreat! There are those who come for a day on their own or the many different groups that come for refreshing, renewal, restoration, silence, community. Time of prayer together or apart, in group or alone in the silence. There is interaction with one another, always with affirmation, walking the grounds or encountering a beautiful prayer space in some room they have found to just "be" in. We see many church or business staffs that need to encounter community with each other, mending, growing, healing, renewal, being woven together outside of the work place, and all leaving with that sence of refreshment, peace and even reconciliation.
Those who encounter New Beginnings, encounters peace. I truly experience it everyday myself. This peace is the gift of God for New Beginnings House of Prayer. I cannot explain, I can only tell you that it is true and very healing and very calming and a gift of God.
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION / MENTORING... Our Spiritual Directors are always ready to walk along side of you, to help you see where you are called to be in this time of your life. To help you encounter God in those unexpected places you were not expecting to find Him. You need never to be alone, we are always here to be with you, walk with you, love you, cry with you, laugh with you, just "be" with you. We truly believe that Christ is within everyone who walks through those doors. When we see you, we truly see the face of God. Our arms are open as well as our doors. Always.
GROUPS...We are here for your group, the one that needs that special place to meet, to retreat, to come together. That special day that you join as a group, uniting hearts and minds, direction and maybe even new beginnings for some. This is a place where the Spirit of God dwells and many things happen to many people. We receive direction we didn't even know we needed. We are opened up in places we have been closed for many years. Oh the groups that can be touched by just a day away, a day to reconviene, restructure or maybe even restore.

Whether you come individually or in a group we want to be a part of your life. We practice this life of contemplative living that we may encounter you at the place God intended us to meet. We have a contemplative heart with an apostolic calling. To be a oasis in a very complex and busy world. May you become one with the Beloved that beckons you to come...live...abide within His heart, and once you enter in, you will never want to leave.
New Beginnings is a house of prayer, love, and community. We give all glory to God in the highest!
