There's a ton of Repton remakes available... and I'm not being biased when I say they aren't up to scratch. Don't get me wrong: remakers of Repton are Gods on Earth! This took me two days to make. That includes full audio soundtrack of modernised ragtime and rendered 3D graphics. This runs fine but it's for DOS. If you like Repton, then you are welcome to it when I finally make it available.

PS.. this runs in 800x600 resolution. Not too shabby for two days work!

SCREENSHOTS

Screenshots! That's what you want, isn't it!
Look. I don't know who's interested in this so if you want this released email me and I just might get off my lazy arse and spend some time on this (which i havent done since I made it).

Note that the actual Repton sprite is the only thing that needs finishing ;)

The spirit's are cool. They still follow the old stick-to-the-left routine, but they also bob around, too, in a cool way. This is a visual effect and doesnt effect the gameplay, I must stress!

The map screen, with the icons on the right that tell you what tasks are left and how much time is left.

Another nice touch is the timebomb: you can see time left on it like an LCD display. When it gets down to 1000 the fuse lights and burns down to zero.

As well as an already fully functioning editor, I've made a utility to rip the maps from the original Reptons. Here's the first map on Repton 3.

The monsters follow you as usual and have that randomness that they have on the original that helps them get past obsticles istead of getting trapped behind a simple diamond or something. Notice the fungus too? That's nicely touched up too. It kinda pulsates and shakes and spreads in a *cringe* kind of way.
