BALLYMUN NEW CENTURY DEVELOPMENT GROUP

Ballymun New Century Development Group is an independent group of individuals resident in Ballymun.  The Group is concerned with the way Ballymun is being regenerated by Ballymun Regeneration Limited.  We want to see Ballymun regenerated properly for the benefit of everyone involved and in line with their wishes.
The Group is a non-profit making community group.
WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED OR ACCEPTED, NOR WILL WE RECIEVE OR ACCEPT CONTRIBUTIONS OR 'INDUCEMENTS' FROM BUSINESS INTERESTS OR OTHER 'VESTED INTERESTS' IN THE REGENERATION OF BALLYMUN.
We are not funded by any agency or authority.  We do not recieve funding from Dublin Corporation

All of our work to date has been financed out of the pockets of our members.

All of the above have been involved in community work to varying degrees over a long period of Ballymun's history

Aim
The aim of the Ballymun New Century Development Group is to seek the betterment of the community of Ballymun as defined in the objectives below.
Objectives
1.  To seek the beneficial redevelopment and future development of Ballymun for and on behalf of the community of Ballymun
2.  To safeguard the interests of the community of Ballymun including commercial, industrial, educational, recreational, educational, the Arts and any other such interest identified by the Group
3.  To act as a consultation group between the community and anyother group, organisation, authority or body corporate through the process of consultation and agreement
4.  To inform the community of Ballymun of instances impinging upon the development and welfare of the community
5.  To assist, subject to 2 above, other community groups, organisations, authorities and bodies corporate similarly involved or who wish to be involved int he development and welfare of the community of Ballymun.
