Peanut Butter and Cream Cheese Pie

1 8-ounce package cream cheese, cut up
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 4-ounce container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
1 chocolate-flavored crumb pie shell, graham cracker crumb pie shell, or butter-flavored crumb pie shell
Coarsely chopped peanuts (optional)

In a large mixer bowl combine cream cheese and peanut butter; beat with an electric mixer till combined. Add powdered sugar and milk; heat till combined. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon into the pie shell. Sprinkle with peanuts, if desired. Cover and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes.
