Carefully cut out the footprint with a utility knife, then turn it bottom-side up and place it on the cardboard to trace the second footprint (so it will be a mirror image of the first).

After cutting out the second footprint, place your child's shoe in the center and puncture a hole in the cardboard on each side of the shoe. Thread a long piece of string or ribbon, from the bottom side, through each hole in the footprints so they can be tied around your child's shoe to keep them in place.

Now the kids can cause a fright on the beach or in your neighborhood by leaving their scarey footprints behind!
