Born on 1st May Ajith Kumar has more than 8 years experience in cine line. He has more than 33 films to his credit. Currently he is the leading young actor in the Tamil field. Ajit started his film career with the film Amaravathi. He got noticed in Vasanth's Aasai which was a big hit. His mega hit was Kaathal Kottai which was directed by Agathiyan. He is one of the most promising young heroes. His hits include Aasai, Kaathal Kottai, Kaathal Mannan, Ullasam, Rasi, Aval varuvala, Nee Varuvai Ena, Vaalie (dual role), Anantha Poonkattrea, Amarkalam, Mugavaree, KandukondenKandukonden ,dhenna, citizen Recipient of Best New Face Award from "Bharatmuni Art Academy" for his debut film 'Prema Pusthakam' (Telugu). Ajith's 30th movie was Poovellam Un Vaasam. His first movie was Prema Pusthagam (telugu) in 1993. His first enter in tamil movie was Amaravathy in 1993. He's very fond of bike racing and had a bad accident during bike racing and had bed-ridden at hospital for about 6 months. After a year his movie Pavithra comes on screen and then a super hit movie Aasai which proved a turning point in his film career. Then comes a National Award Movie Kathal Kothai. 1999 was the luckiest year for him…the movie Vaali which Ajith appear in duel role brings out the best in him..... Vaali is the movie which gives him big turning point in his acting career.
